Linear park fence at reservoir still not fixed

From Dunwoody Crier, Front 10/17/06, by Cathy Cobbs

Fence fix far from finished

From the story:
That is until the evening of Mother’s Day, May 14, when a speeding driver in a van heading towards Tilly Mill Road took a winding Peeler Road curve too fast and knocked out a mailbox on the right side of the street, then overcorrected, crossed the road, and knocked out five trees, a lamppost, a brick wall and a large section of the wrought iron fence.

Almost immediately DeKalb County workers came out to install a mesh temporary fence swathed with yellow caution tape, and later repaired the brick wall. Since then, despite the neighbors’ pleas, nothing has been done to fix the once-pristine linear park.
